CNN’s news had reported Metal Falls Off Taiwan Skyscraper, 2 Hurt, and friends afar immediately sending their care. I then start to check local news, and found it was reported without the usual exaggerated tone. In another news Taipei City Govn’t Checkin’ 101’s Security This Morning (北市府上午聯合安檢101), it was said:
…There are several units of Taipei City Govn’t having the examination today. Due to the security concern, the examination allow no journalist to participation …(and report?)
今天到場檢查的單位是市府工務局、建管處、勞工局，由於工程意外才剛發生，基於安全顧慮，這次的檢查並未開放媒體隨行。
